* Iguassu Falls: Top of the Brazilian Bucketlist Trip.
Our suggestion for a best trip to Iguassu Falls
When it comes to Brazilian Bucket List destinations, Foz do Iguassu is at the very top. Iguassu Falls is one of the modern world’s wonders. Its 275 waterfalls enchant millions of tourists each year. On any given day, the majestic waterfalls cascade endlessly, creating a light, refreshing mist, enveloping all who behold its sight. Nearby hiking trails provide breathtaking views of the surrounding terrain, perfect for taking pictures that will last a lifetime. Photos won’t do this natural treasure justice. You simply must see it for yourself. So if you have the chance to go, take it. We promise you won’t regret it. Take a Walk on the Brazilian Side
The nearby Iguaçu Park is a clean, organized and enjoyable place for visitors of all ages. You don’t have to be in perfect shape to enjoy all the park has to offer. The park opens at 9 am. We suggest you get there early! To arrive at the park, simply take a bus to the trail entrance. At the very end of the trail is a panoramic elevator where you can enjoy some truly unforgettable views.
There are numerous guided tour options throughout the park. The Black Well Trail and the Trail of the Banana are kayaking tours where you can kayak in a safe, calm area of the Iguaçu River. The Canyon Iguaçu is the perfect option for those adventure lovers – rafting, zip lining, tree climbing, rappelling – you name it, they got it.
* Getting the most out of your visit
Let me describe for you how it worked with us when our team visited Iguassu Falls in July. We arrived at the park entrance in the morning to buy tickets and we saw lots of people and a huge line in front of us. Maybe 800 people.
We recommend you hire a private guide. It will save you at least 2-3 hours. Your guide will buy the tickets in advance. This will enable you to bypass the enormous morning crowd – 800+ people! Once you enter the park, you simply need to sit back, relax, and take in the sites. Your guide will describe everything to you and take you to all the best spots in the park. You’ll be in an optimal position to take pictures or videos of your visit. Believe us, it’s worth paying a little extra for the guided tour.Check out our video for more tips:
* Don’t miss this!
In order to get some of the best pictures, make sure to visit the upper level decks as well as the several bridges near the waterfall. At these locations, you’ll be able to capture some of the best shots!
Important tip: Make sure your camera or your cellphone are waterproof, it can get very wet!
* How long does take to visit the Park ?
It takes about 2 hours to visit the entire park, not including the Macuco safari boat tour. We highly recommend this tour. It’s an amazing experience! Click here for more information: http://www.cataratasdoiguacu.com.br/
* The Macuco Safari Boat Tour – Best of the besi in Iguazu Falls
The Macuco safari departs from the Brazilian side every 15 minutes. The safari boats travel inside the Argentinian side, getting closer to the actual waterfalls.
The boat tour follows a trail within the forest in a stylized boat. It’s a wonderful and unique experience. Don’t worry about your things, you’ll be able to place your belongings in a waterproof bag. By the end of the tour, you’ll be absolutely soaked! We suggest you bring a change of dry clothes to change into. Click here to see a video:

* The Argentinian Side
A visit to the Iguaçu National Park on the Argentine side is a definite must. The Argentine falls provide excitement, adventure and immense beauty.The Argentine park requires more physical activity, but we think the extra effort is well worth it!
There are two main trails: The Lower Circuit and the Superior Circuit, which leads to the Devil’s Throat, the largest waterfall in the park. Most people start with the Lower Circuit, which is more physically demanding due to the trail’s steep incline.
Make sure you wear comfortable shoes for hiking! Each hiking trail has spectacular views. You can see breathtaking views from the top of the waterfalls. If you want to stop for a quick bite during your hike, there are some great snack options in the park.
Although the Argentine falls are more physically demanding, you will be able to have the best view of Devil’s Canyon. The Devil’s throat is regarded as the most beautiful waterfall. You won’t believe how gorgeous it is until you’re standing there in awe just letting the beauty soak in.
* Important Tips:
1) Make sure you bring a large bottle of water.
2) Make sure to bring Argentine pesos. The Argentine side only accepts Argentine currency at the entrance gate. No credit cards will be accepted. Plan ahead and change your money in advance. This extra hassle will prove well worth it. Once you enter the gates, you won’t regret it one little bit.
3) hired a private guide
